professional processing we offer to give you the highest quality foundation to
make great reeds. Since the tolerances are very consistent, your reeds

| Gouged and Profiled - For
Bassoonist who prefer to use their custom shape, order Gouged/Shaped/Profiled
shape #2. This shape should be wide enough to
reshape with your custom straight or fold-over shaper. Gouged Cane - We take quality tube cane and
sort out pieces that don't meet the our standards. Each piece is precision
cut to length using a high speed, fine tooth saw. Then, a two stage process is
used to gouge the cane to the final thickness using diamond wheel cutters.
This is the least intrusive method we've discovered to gouge the cane and
gives us the most accurate cut possible ! The gouge is so smooth, we
recommend no sanding of the gouged side. The cane length is 120 mm
and the thickness is 1.20 mm +/- .1 mm. |

uniform the tube cane is. For a given piece, the tolerances will be quite
good, though! Tube Cane - Our tube cane comes from
different growers from the Var region of France and is superb in quality and
consistency. Your order will contain tube dimension ranging from 24 - 26
mm. Recommendation is to split the cane into 4 sections to minimize waste.

is not refundable. Unfortunately, for health reason, we are unable to
